LA TORRE DE LOS PICOS

La torre de los picos tiene tres plantas por dentro, se llama así por las almenas que tiene en la terraza, terminadas en pirámide de ladrillo. La torre de los picos la construyeron entre el siglo XIII y el siglo XIV, es defensiva y tambien es una de las entradas que une una las entradas de la Alhambra con el Generalife. La puerta de la torre se llama la puerta del Arrabal. En esta torre Wahington Irving se inventó una historia que habla de un judío llamado Almamen que se escondía en la torre para buscar medios de venganza contra el seductor de su hija. La torre tiene una arquitectura gótica, sin que se conozca a que es debido.
